The Wyvern’s Watch logo was designed to be an emblem (or crest) and was inspired by the Wyvern creature in the D&D game. The dragon-like creature was drawn by hand in Inkscape using the client’s AI-generated dragon as a reference.
The problem with the AI-generated version of the logo is that it’s in a pixel-based format and was drawn in such a way that its finer details make in unsuitable for use as a logo. So the goal was to re-create the design in a more versatile vector format.
The finished crest has quite a bit of detail but maintains its versatility.
The decorative elements include common elements in fantasy RPGs, including crossbows, swords, fire and water.
