This was a logo that I was hired to design for a premium domain name that a client of mine came across and wanted to sell. He felt that the domain could sell quicker if it had a professionally-made logo included and ready to go.
The idea behind this design was quite simple and straightforward — a wordmark with the word “deal” accentuated and placed within the negative space of a sale tag. This is an execution that I’m particularly proud of because of how well it works despite being a really basic idea. Sometimes less is more, and I truly feel that is the case here.
